FUNERAL SERVICES: Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 10:00 am. in Harrell Memorial Chapel.
INTERMENT: Old Dublin Memorial Park Cemetery.
VISITATION: Tuesday, September 5th from 6 to 8 pm.
Leslie Jay Wellborn went to be with his LORD on September 3, 2017 at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 22 days. He was born on June 11, 1958 in Dublin, Texas. He was the son of Billy Joe Wellborn and Wilma Pauline Cline.”Catfish met Cricket” and they united in marriage on December 6, 2014 in Joshua Texas. He was preceded in death by his step-son – Carlton Butler in June of 2016 and and his brother – Charles Weston Wellborn on December 6, 2014.
Leslie is survived by his wife – Millie Wellborn of Joshua, Texas; his son – Gene Welborn of Comanche, Texas; his daughter – Audra Wellborn of the state of Ohio; his step-son – Michael Shrum of Denton, Texas; sister – Paula Sue Manohar of Ft. Worth, Texas: his grandchildren; John Wellborn, Jake Wellborn, Treyton Butler, Carter Butler, Kaylee Butler and several others and also a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Leslie was a Methodist and a member of the National Guard in Stephenville, Texas. He was a truck driver for Southern Asphalt.
