This is the 14th career Offensive Player of the Week award for Roberts, who continued her dominant senior season last week. She landed 49 kills on a .280 hitting percentage for the week, including a week-high 18 kills against then-No. 11 Angelo State.

She followed up with a 16-kill performance on a .480 hitting clip against West Texas A&M, who came into Friday’s game atop the conference standings. Roberts boasted double-doubles in two of Tarleton’s three matches for the week, including an 18-kill, 12-dig performance at Angelo State. For the week, she also totaled one assist, four service aces, 31 digs, 4.0 blocks, and 55.0 points.

Strange earned her first career league honor as the freshman from Granbury led the team with 13.0 blocks in three matches, including 7.0 at Angelo State, and helped hold opponents to a .132 hitting percentage. In addition to her 13 total blocks and 1.30 blocks per set, Strange totaled 13 kills, two digs, and 21.0 total points.

In the second set of the match at ASU, the Rambelles were in the middle of a 4-0 run to cut the Tarleton lead to 23-22 but Strange came up big with an assisted block and a kill to give Tarleton two of the next three points and even the match at 1-1. The freshman continued to provide big plays throughout the match as she bookended a 10-5 Tarleton run with a kill and a solo block that allowed Tarleton to turn a 15-10, third-set deficit into a 20-20 tie. The TexAnns went on to take the third set 25-23. She added another kill for Tarleton’s 24th point of the fourth set to help the TexAnns secure the victory over then-No. 11 ASU.

Keamo earned her fourth career award and first this season after making Tarleton history by becoming the first known player in program history to record a triple-double in a single match. The senior from Mililani, Hawaii went for 10 kills, 22 assists, and 10 digs in the TexAnns’ sweep of West Texas A&M Friday night.

Keamo averaged 8.40 assists per set and dished out 84 total assists for the TexAnns in three straight wins, including Tarleton’s first road win at Angelo State since 2006. For the week, she totaled 18 kills on a .279 hit percentage, four aces, 43 digs, five blocks, and 24.5 total points. She had at least a double-double in all three matches.

The TexAnns will head to San Antonio Friday for a doubleheader against Lubbock Christian and St. Mary’s at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, before heading down to Kingsville for a Lone Star Conference showdown with the Javelinas Saturday at 2 p.m.
