TexAnn setter Keamo recognized again by LSC

STEPHENVILLE (October 3, 2017) -– Jordyn Keamo was named the Lone Star Conference Setter of the Week for the second consecutive week after leading Tarleton to three more wins last weekend, including an LSC road win at Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Keamo continued to lead the Tarleton offense as the senior setter dished out 104 assists in 12 sets last weekend, including 50 at Texas A&M-Kingsville Saturday. She led the TexAnns to victories over Lubbock Christian, St. Mary’s, and TAMUK while the offense hit .267 as a team.

In Saturday’s win, Keamo help orchestrate Tarleton’s highest team kill performance of the season as the TexAnns landed 77 kills and had four players crack double digits. For the week, Keamo added 15 kills, five aces, and 43 digs. She boasted double-double performances against St. Mary’s and Texas A&M-Kingsville and had a 1.000 serve-receive percentage for the week.

This is Keamo’s fifth career LSC Setter of the Week award and second this year. Tarleton will return to action this weekend with a Friday night match against Cameron at 6 p.m. and Saturday afternoon affair with Midwestern State at 2 p.m.
