Metro Athletic Conference recognzies past Honeybee Fredrickson

Kerstin Fredrickson of Stephenville and Bluff Dale enjoyed the best week of her junior college volleyball career last week, including a double-double of 15 kills and 19 digs on her way to being named Metro Athletic Conference player of the week.

(October 6, 2017) — Kerstin Fredrickson, a 2016 graduate of Stephenville High School, has ben named volleyball player of the week in the Metro Athletic Conference of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Fredrickson plays at Eastfield College in Mesquite, where she is teammates with another Erath County product, 2016 Dublin graduate Faith Faulkner.

A 5-10 sophomore from Buff Dale, Fredrickson racked up 33 kills, 45 assists and three block assists in nine sets last week, according to the announcement from the MAC that was published to the NJCAA website. The former Honeybee was especially strong and versatile when posting a double-double in one match with 15 kills and 19 digs.
