AT A GLANCE
Tarleton is in the midst of a season-high eight-game winning streak, with four of those wins coming on the road. The TexAnns look to stay atop the Lone Star Conference standings as they make their longest road trip of the year with the New Mexico trip of their conference schedule. The TexAnns face Eastern New Mexico on Friday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. CST and Western New Mexico on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. CST.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton took care of Cameron and Midwestern State in a homestandlast weekend. The TexAnns swept Cameron Friday night when Hailey Roberts and Adriana Darthuy combined for 26 kills with 13 each. Roberts hit .500 for the match while Darthuy boasted a .370 hitting clip. In Saturday’s four-set win over Midwestern State, Darthuy led the team with 16 kills on a .268 hitting clip while Amber Strange added 10 kills at a .333 percentage.

IN THE NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
Tarleton Volleyball continues its run as a nationally-ranked team as the TexAnns enter the weekend contests as the No. 15 team in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll for the third straight week. The TexAnns are the highest nationally ranked team in the Lone Star Conference. Tarleton’s first national ranking came in the final poll of the 2016 season when the TexAnns debuted at No. 25. They have been ranked in every release since – opening the season at No. 25, moving to No. 17 last week, No. 14 last week, which was the highest ranking in program history.


CHASING HISTORY: THE DRIVE FOR 2405
Hailey Roberts enters the weekend with 2,135 career kills and is on the heels of the Lone Star Conference kills record, which has been held by Central Oklahoma’s Alma Brahimaj since 2002. Brahimaj boasts 2,404 career kills during her 1999-02 tenure with the Bronchos.

SERIES HISTORY: EASTERN NEW MEXICO
Tarleton and Eastern New Mexico have met 44 times in their history, dating back to the inaugural meeting on Sept. 6, 1985. The TexAnns have won 19 times in the series, including six in Portales. Tarleton has won 18 of the last 20 meetings dating back to 2005.

SERIES HISTORY: WESTERN NEW MEXICO
The TexAnns will head to Silver City for the fourth time in school history Saturday night for the 14th all-time meeting between Tarleton and Western New Mexico. The Mustangs own an 8-5 record in the series, including a 2-1 mark in Silver City. All five of the TexAnn wins have come in the last five meetings since 2014.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON:
Tarleton will have a quick turnaround from the long road trip as the TexAnns return home for a Tuesday night showdown against LSC rival, Texas A&M-Kingsville at 7 p.m. in Wisdom Gym.
