STEPHENVILLE (October 14, 2017) – Saturday morning Kids Across Cultures hosted a bike ride of a different age – one geared towards the children – in the Stephenville City Park. It was a much shorter bike ride than most and was for a very special and worthy cause. The fundraising ride was held to raise money for Kids Across Cultures, an organization whose goal is to provide safe and healthy drinking water to those in China and Mexico who do not have safe drinking water. The organization raises money to purchase and provide water filters for these families in need. Each filter cost $75 and can provide safe and healthy drinking water for a family of five for 3-5 years.
