AT A GLANCE
No. 11 Tarleton will put a pair of winning streaks to the test on Tuesday in a nationally-ranked home match against Lone Star Conference rival No. 21 Angelo State at 7 p.m. in Wisdom Gym. The TexAnns have won a program-record 13 consecutive matches entering Tuesday and have also won 18 straight home games dating back to last season.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton took on Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday with a one-game lead for first place in the Lone Star Conference standings. The TexAnns downed the Lions in four sets, and following another loss by A&M-Commerce, the TexAnns now hold a three-game lead in the LSC standings. Tarleton was led by Hailey Roberts with 14 kills, followed by Adriana Darthuy (11) and Amber Strange (10) topping double-digit kills.

IN THE NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
Tarleton Volleyball continues its run as a nationally-ranked team as the TexAnns enter the week as the No. 13 team in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, the highest ranking in school history. The TexAnns are the highest nationally ranked team in the Lone Star Conference, with Angelo State ranked No. 22. Tarleton’s first national ranking came in the final poll of the 2016 season when the TexAnns debuted at No. 25. They have been ranked in every release since – opening the season at No. 25, moving to No. 17, No. 14, and No. 15 for the last three weeks.

CHASING HISTORY: THE DRIVE FOR 2405
Hailey Roberts enters the weekend with 2,192 career kills, 212 away from the LSC record of 2,404 set from 1999-2002 by Alma Brahimaj of Central Oklahoma.

SERIES HISTORY: ANGELO STATE
Tarleton and Angelo State are meeting for the 52nd time in program history, with the Rambelles holding a 35-16 advantage in the series. The TexAnns are 10-13 at home against Angelo State. This is the third meeting this season, with Angelo State winning 3-0 on Sept. 9 in Denver, Colorado and the TexAnns topped the then-No. 11 Rambelles 3-1 in San Angelo on Sept. 20.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will travel west to take on UT Permian Basin on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. followed by a trip to Canyon Saturday to take on West Texas A&M.
