NABC RANKINGS
Tarleton received 10 votes in the first National Association of Basketball Coaches poll of the season. The Texans have been nationally ranked in each of the last four seasons.

A LOOK BACK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton qualified for its eighth straight NCAA postseason by claiming the No. 4 seed in the South Central Regional Tournament in Golden, Colorado. The Texans fell in overtime to Fort Lewis, 94-90. The Texans went 22-8 for the season, marking their eight straight 20-win season.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Texas A&M are meeting for the second time in program history. The Texans and Aggies played back in 2007 in College Station where the Aggies won 72-61. Texas A&M was ranked No. 14 in the nation at the time led by future NBA All-Star DeAndre Jordan, but the Texans nearly upset the Aggies when they trailed by five with a minute and a half to go before A&M pulled away.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The Texans will return home to open the regular season with the annual Texan Tip-Off Classic where they’ll face Metro State on Friday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.
