LINGLEVILLE (November 4, 2017) — The Cardinals of Lingleville were soaring following their first-ever win over Gordon, but they were grounded a week later by the roaring Tigers of May, 48-0. May, a state power in recent seasons, should dominate Gordon next week to secure the district title outright in 10-A Division I, while Lingleville travels to Gorman to determine the other playoff qualifier from the group. Only two teams advance in 1A districts, making it an elimination game for the Cards.
