Stacy Bennett Vick, 47, of North Wilkesboro, NC and formerly of Stephenville, TX, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Ft. Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with David Bearden officiating. Interment will follow at East Memorial Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Stacy was born on September 26, 1970 in Stephenville to the late Carolyn Carr and Gayland Bennett. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Vick, on June 21, 1989 in Stephenville. Stacy was a graduate of Stephenville High School and of Tarleton State University where she earned a bachelor of Education. She was a teacher for 3rd and 4th grade for many years in Texas and in North Carolina. Stacy has resided in North Wilkesboro, NC for the past 18 years after living in Stephenville most of her life.
Stacy is survived by her husband, Jimmy Vick of North Wilkesboro, NC; nieces, Brooke Bennett of Austin, and Robbi Bennett of Bangs; aunt, Mary Ann Moore and husband Bobby of Stephenville; cousins, Christy Reese, Kelly Moore, Randall Carr, and Steven Carr; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Patricia Vick of Granbury; brother-in-law, K.C.Vick and wife Nancy of Colorado; and a nephew, Anakin Vick of Colorado.
