VISITATION: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm. at Harrell Funeral Home.
Juanita Davis was born on December 15, 1928 in the Cottonwood Comunity of Erath Co., Texas. She went to be with her LORD on January 5, 2018 at the age of 89 years and 21 days. She was the daughter of Thomas Elmer Thackerson and Irene (DeBusk) Thackerson. Juanita was united to William Joyce Allen, who preceded her in death in 1963. Later, she married Earl Davis who also preceded her in death in 1994. Also, preceding her in death was her son – Dickey Joe Allen in 1988 and her sister – Faye Gooch.
Juanita is survived by her son & daughter-in-law: Ron & Brenda Allen of Willow Park, Texas; her son – Zack Davis of Ft. Worth, Texas; (9) Grandchildren, (36) Great-grandchildren and (10) Great-great grandchildren. Her brothers: Sonny Thackerson of Dublin, Texas and “Pete” Elmer B. Thackerson of Gustine, Texas; her (4) sisters; Flo Allen of Granbury, Texas; Sally Jackson of Weatherford, Texas; Artie Mohler of Cedar Hill, Texas and Nora Carter of Dublin Texas. and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Juanita had been a secretary for Services Unlimited for 27 years and was a member of the Stadium Drive Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, Texas.
