Patricia (Pat) Ann Cowan joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on February 12, 2018. She was born to her parents, Jessie Franklin and Emma Mae (Perkins) Reese in Newburg, Texas on May 22, 1932.
Visitation: Friday night at Harrell Memorial Chapel from 6-8 P.M. A private family luncheon will be held at Cottonwood Baptist Church prior to the service.
Pat was married to Rich Wade Cowan, Jr. on November 11, 1950 in Newburg, Texas. They lived a long happy life together until his passing on September 14, 2002. Wade and Pat raised four children together: Jimmy, Teresa, Nancy, and Richard. Pat graduated from beauty school and owned Pat’s Beauty Shop in Dublin. Later, she and Wade founded Hoka Hey Fine Arts.
She was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Pat was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister, a grandson, and a son-in-law.
She will be remembered by her children – Jimmy & Nancy Cowan of Dublin, Teresa Cowan Jones of Cedar Park, Nancy & Russell Delk of San Antonio, and Richard & Jalea Cowan of Stephenville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; her brother – John Edward & Charlotte Reese of Nevada; as well as numerous other relatives & friends.
