Tarleton baseball series bumped up to Thursdsay, Friday

THE GAMES
After the weekend weather forecast forced a change to the series schedule, the Texans will make their home debut one day earlier as they welcome Arlington Baptist to town for a three-game series beginning Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. The series will continue Friday with a noon doubleheader.

GAME COVERAGE
There will be live stats available for the games, courtesy of the home team. A live video stream will be available courtesy of the home team with only the PA sounds serving as an audio feed.

TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton State Ticket Office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. in the main lobby of Wisdom Gym and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Cash, check, and cards are all accepted. Tarleton’s Stephenville Campus Students receive free admission to all home games with valid Stephenville Campus Student ID.

A LOOK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton was swept Saturday afternoon by St. Mary’s to fall to 2-4 on the young season after the first two series of the season.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Arlington Baptist have squared off 10 times since the inaugural meeting in 2013 with the Texans earning wins in nine of them. Tarleton is 9-1 in the series overall, including an 8-1 mark in Stephenville.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will remain home next weekend for a four-game, in-region series against Adams State beginning Friday at 3 p.m. It will be a traditional 1-2-1 series spanning Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
