STEPHENVILLE (February 19, 2018) — Stephenville FAITH has well established itself as a powerhouse in high school football, but this year the Knights and Lady Knights took their success to a whole new level with four state championships – football and boys basketball in the high school ranks as well as volleyball and girls basketball at the junior high level.

The most recent championships were won over the weekend on the hardwood as the high school boys put an exclamation on a 15 win, 7 loss season with a 59-55 win over Bastrop Tribe Consolidated, and the junior high Lady Knights put a nifty bow tie on a 13-2 campaign with a four-point championship victory, 28-24.

All the championships came in the Texas Association of Independent Athletic Organizations, or TAIAO. FAITH moved into TAIAO after establishing its athletic pogram as a member of the Texas Christian Athletic League, or TCAL.
