STEPHENVILLE (March 7, 2018) – On Saturday, March 24, from 6-9 p.m., the Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council (CTFAC) will host their 16th Annual Ragin’ Cajun Fundraiser at the Stephenville City Hall banquet facility at City Limits.
There are eight tables still available to reserve for $750 each. Every table has 10 seats. There are also individual tickets on sale for $75 per person.
“Funds raised help us with expenses for our summer art and manners campus, concerts, art exhibits at four local galleries, Ballet Austin productions for our area school children and more,” CTFAC Executive Director Julie Smith said. “We are so thankful for our generous community and volunteers who make what we do possible for over 38 years!”
As in years past, the event is Mardi Gras-themed with a crawfish boil and silent auction. There will also be live music provided by Jay-B and the Zydeco Posse.
“We have great auction items and fun Celebrity Waiter teams,” Smith said. “I can’t wait to see all the costumes this year.”
Since last year’s event, the CTFAC has been promoting this year’s Ragin’ Cajun Fundraiser via social media. To introduce the celebrity waiter teams, the CTFAC has posted weekly spotlights on Facebook and Instagram.
“I am most excited about our volunteers and their fun new ideas,” Smith said. “Our Ragin’ Cajun committee has really pulled out all the stops this year! This will be our best year yet!”
