THE GAMES
Tarleton is back in the national playoffs for the second consecutiveeason and the eighth time in program history after being named the No. 8 seed in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament Sunday night. The TexAnns will begin their road to a regional title against top-seeded Lubbock Christian on Friday, March 9 at 6 p.m. in the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock.

HOW THE BRACKET WILL PLAY OUT
The winner of Lubbock Christian and Tarleton will advance to the regional semifinals against the winner of Angelo State and Black Hills State. On the other side of the bracket awaits West Texas A&M, Arkansas-Fort Smith, Colorado State-Pueblo, and Metro State.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets are currently on sale at www.lcu.edu/tickets. Tickets will also be available at the gate, as long as supplies last. There is no general seating. All tickets will have seat assignments and cost $10 per ticket.

A LOOK BACK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton advanced to the Lone Star Conference Tournament championship game by knocking off Eastern New Mexico and Angelo State before falling to West Texas A&M in the finals at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco. Katie Webster of the TexAnns was named to the LSC All-Tournament team.

INSIDE THE SERIES: LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN
Tarleton and Lubbock Christian have met 24 times since the inaugural meeting in 1980 and the TexAnns own a 20-4 all-time lead. Tarleton won 18 of the first 19 meetings from 1980 until 2010. Since 2011, the teams have met five times and Tarleton has won two. Lubbock Christian won the last two meetings, including one in Lubbock earlier this season.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will continue its season with every win. If Tarleton advances past Lubbock Christian, the TexAnns would play the winner of Angelo State/Black Hills State on Saturday
