Nowak places five times for second-place Yellow Jackets

(March 13, 2018) — Krece Nowak placed in five events including victories in the 100 meter and 4×400 meter relay to lead STepehnville to 98 points and second behind McGregor at the Cullen Davis Relays in Hillsboro last week.

Reigning 4A high jump chmpion Blake Argon won that event, but only at 6-2 in sub-par jumping conditions, and Stephenville again went 1-2 with Kyle Lindsey second at 6-0.

Nowak scored 29-1/2 points, racing through the 100 in 11.34 seconds and helping two relays He was the second leg between Lindsey and Pacen Parker with Cole Pettit on the anchor leg of the 4×400 that finished in 3 minute, 36.12 seconds. The junior was also part of the sixth-place 4×100 relay, placed second in long jump and finished third in high jump.
