Texans baseball games delayed due to expected high winds

STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton’s road baseball series at UT Permian Basin, which was originally scheduled to start tomorrow in Odessa, will now begin on Saturday and play through Monday due to high winds.

Wind gusts are expected to be upwards of 60 miles per hour on Friday.

The game times will remain the same throughout the weekend. Saturday’s single game will begin at 2 p.m. with a doubleheader on Sunday at 1 p.m. The series will close on Monday with a 1 p.m. single game.

Tarleton is currently 23-13 overall and in sole possession of second place in the Lone Star Conference standings with an 8-4 league record.
