STEPHENVILLE – Due to inclement weather in Wichita Falls this weekend, Midwestern State has once again announced a change to the softball series this weekend featuring No. 17 Tarleton. This is the second time in two days that the home team has made a change to the original schedule.

The series will now begin with a Friday night doubleheader at 4 and 6 p.m. with a single game on Saturday at 6 p.m. to close out the series. If the Saturday game is unable to be played, the final game will be played at 12 p.m. on Sunday.

Tarleton comes into the weekend ranked No. 17 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association national poll and No. 5 in the NCAA regional rankings with an overall record of 40-8 and a Lone Star Conference record of 17-7. Tarleton has won 40 games in a season for the second time in program history and first since 2003.
