Russ McDanel for City Council, Place 8
I am happy to say that I have known Russ McDanel for several years and during that friendship have never been disappointed by his genuine “caring” for his fellow man and his constant desire to “make things as good as I can”! His desire to enact legislation that is best for Stephenville is reason enough to elect Russ McDanel to the Stephenville City Council, but he has other qualifications! He has experience working with others for the best interests of Stephenville residents. When elected on May 5th, Russ, with a knowledge of how things work, is ready, sleeves rolled up, grin on his face, and a ‘let’s go’ attitude. That attitude comes from knowledge of the facts and the willingness to “go all out” to achieve the best possible results.
Russ McDanel is the man for the job. No other candidate can match Russ’s experience; serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission and previous work with the council and city staff. He is a graduate of Leadership Stephenville and Citizens Police Academy. Russ is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a degree in Business Administration. No other candidate has that experience and that education. Russ is a perfect fit to serve the people.
As the owner of a small, successful business Russ understands what is involved in keeping operating costs low and customer satisfaction high.
Russ is upfront when it comes to recognizing problems for Stephenville’s best interests and careful in planning solutions that are cost-effective. He will weigh heavily on all facts in any effort to raise taxes so that the very best solution is made for the best interests of all.
