STEPHENVILLE— Dalton Stidham, Rascellis Williams, and Roxana Hernandez were named LSC Athletes of the Week for their performances at the ACU Oliver Jackson meet. Tarleton earned three of the four honors that were awarded this week.
Stidham took home a gold medal and marked a provisional time for the fifth consecutive meet in the 110-meter hurdles. The junior hurdler from Boyd posted a career-best time of 14.21 and earned the weekly outdoor award for the second time in his career.
Williams competed in the high jump at the meet, and cleared 6-5 (1.96m) and placed fourth in the event. The junior from Mineral Wells now has three career LSC weekly awards.
Hernandez also competed in the high jump at the meet and cleared 5-3.75 (1.62m) and finished fifth in the event. This marks the first career weekly honor for the senior jumper.
The Texans and TexAnns will compete in the Lone Star Conference Championships on Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5 in San Angelo.
