Memorial services for Betty Jane Dowell, seventy-one, beautician, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Dittfurth officiating. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Betty was born in Hamilton, Texas on June 6, 1946 to Mildred Lucille (Kirkland) and Robert Lee Bailey Jr.

Betty was a member of Cornerstone First Assembly, worked at Walmart as a cashier and customer service for eighteen years, and was the World’s Best Nana.

Survivors include her two daughters, Donna J. Wallace and Delinda Stark and husband, Adam; thirteen grandchildren, Bradley Wallace, Fernando and Christy Escobar, Derek and Megan Voges, Emmanuel and Marissa Olvera, Billy and Monica Andrews, Mike and Misty Gann, and Chris and Michelle Neal; and fourteen great grandchildren, Kasidee, Preston, Hope, Alleigh, Zephaniah, Koalbee, Judah, Logan, Alexis, Kaiden, Elijah, Gabe, Bryce, Jeremiah, and Jake.
