Pebble McBroom Yoxtheimer

(September 10, 1947~ May 28, 2018)

Pebble was born on September 10, 1947, in Jones, Louisiana to the late Cecil Wayne and Audrey Turner McBroom. Pebble graduated from Rose State University, and received her Bachelors in nursing from the University of Oklahoma. She served her country in the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of E-4. She married David Yoxtheimer on December 22, 1968 in Fort Worth. David preceded her in death in 1995 after 27 years of marriage. Pebble spent much of her 52 years in nursing working in the Fort Worth area. She moved to Stephenville in 1997 where she continued to nurse, retiring after 11 years at Mulberry Manor Nursing Home.

Survivors include her son, Clinton Yoxtheimer of Stephenville; daughter, Terry Dowell and wife Kristy Bunnell of North Richland Hills; son, Darrin and wife Courtney Yoxtheimer of Clovis, California, and their children, Jedidiah and Savannah Yoxtheimer; and sister, Joanne Hayes of Fort Worth.

Besides her parents, and husband; Pebble was also preceded in death by brothers, J. T. and Darrell McBroom; and a sister, Jean McBroom Lohe.

Service Information

Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Greenwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum, located at 3100 White Settlement Road in Fort Worth.
