STEPHENVILLE (May 26, 2018) – The fine folks of the Turnbow-Higgs Post & Auxiliary Unit 240 hosted the annual Memorial Day Service to honor military personnel who died in the line of duty in the West Memorial Cemetery.  There were two past mayors present – Kenny Weldon and John Moser.  And, there were even a few veterans present who served in World War II.  William Kent was also present.  Kent recently (Jan. 2018) became a U.S. citizen, originally from Ireland, he moved to Texas in 2009.  There was also a young man present who is active with Carry The Load.  To learn more about this awesome program, go to carrytheload.org  The guest speaker was Ted Roberts.  May God bless ALL of our military personnel and their families.
