Larkis John Cooper, 79, has passed away on June 5, 2018. He was the son of L.V. Cooper & Bessie (Brundrant) Cooper, born in Stephenville, Texas on November 12, 1938.
He married Betty Vanderpool on February 20, 1958, in Dublin. They had two children, Cynthia and John Edward.
John worked as a salesman for Certain Teed in Waco, Texas. He was a member of the Dublin Masonic Lodge & Moslah Shriners.
John was preceded in death by his granddaughter – Samanthia Raney in 2002, and his brother – David George Cooper of Mexia.
He will be remembered by his wife – Betty (Vanderpool) Cooper of Hamilton, Texas; his children – Cynthia Cooper of Killeen, Texas and John Edward Cooper of Dublin, Texas; his grandson – James Raney; his great-grandchildren – Gaberial Thomas Raney, Realin R. Raney, Adam James Raney, Bryson Raney, and Brandr Raney; his brother – L.V. Cooper, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
