Motorcycle crash on 67 leaves one dead

ERATH COUNTY (June 9, 2018) – A Dublin woman is dead following a crash on US Highway 67 near the Somervell County line.

According to a report from Texas Highway Patrol, at approximately 8:40 p.m. Saturday, June 9, a Suzuki motorcycle driven by Sara Neagle, 45 of Dublin, crossed the center line on US Highway 67 and struck a Ford pickup driven by Kenneth Meline, 58 of Southlake.

The report stated, “Neagle was traveling west on US 67 with a group of motorcyclists and while entering a curve, for an unknown reason, the motorcycle crossed over the center strip and into the eastbound lane, striking the pickup.”

Neagle was pronounced deceased at the scene. Meline was accompanied by his wife and grandson and no one in the truck was injured.  Neagle was wearing a helmet and she was taken to the Tarrant County Medical Examiners Office.

The crash is still under investigation pending the medical report.
