STEPHENVILLE (June 12, 2018)– The Erath County District Court sentenced Kenneth Jackson to a total of 25 years in prison after Jackson pleaded guilty to the charges of burglary of a habitation and possession of methamphetamine.
Jackson will serve the 15 years for burglary of a habitation and 10 years for possession of methamphetamine concurrently.
According to the affidavit, the victim of the burglary reported multiple items stolen, including a refrigerator, a microwave oven, dresser, water heater, sink, stereo and washing machine. The crime took place in late November 2016.
Police found 1.58 grams of methamphetamine on Jackson after searching his vehicle on January 6, 2018.
Jackson’s record lists ten other cases of theft or burglary. His record also includes unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, multiple illegal drug possessions, driving with an invalid license and evading arrest.
