Upon returning to Dublin, from the service, he married Norma Jean Sharp on October 20, 1960.

Jerry worked as a ranch foreman for Coburn’s Lightning C Ranch and carried many wonderful memories of his days there.

He went on to be a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, a six-year employee of Dublin Dr. Pepper and retired after many years as a meat processor at Dublin Zero Locker.

He was an avid outdoorsman, spending many days camping & hunting with friends and family. Jerry could skin a deer in a blink of an eye! Fishing was his passion and he bought his “dream boat” in 2003 where he pulled catfish from the waters of Proctor Lake to the Grand Lakes of Oklahoma.

Jerry leaves behind his brother-in-law – Norman Sharp of Dublin, his sister-in-law – Bobbye Westmoreland of Gustine, and numerous cousins, other relatives & friends.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Siloam Cemetery Association.
