STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton’s Casey Wild and Junie Khaw were selected by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as All-American Scholars, the organization announced on Tuesday.

It’s the third straight season that Wild has been named an All-American Scholar by the WGCA. It’s the first award for Khaw, who just completed her freshman season with the TexAnns. The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with the minimum cumulative GPA being 3.50.

Wild was recently named honorable mention All-America by the WGCA, which is the second All-American award for her career. Wild wrapped her four-year TexAnn career with a seventh-place individual finish at the NCAA Division II Championships. The Australia native was also a first-team All-LSC selection as a senior.

Khaw was a second-team All-LSC selection as a freshman. The Malaysia native had a 75.1 scoring average and posted six top 20 finishes and one top 10 finish this season.
