Burial of her ashes will be 11 a.m., July 21st at Gardens of Memory in Paducah, Texas.
Billie Rae Goodwin, 90, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018. She was the daughter of Ed Marvin Love & Willie Lee (Findley) Love.
Billie was married to Allen Duane Goodwin on January 24, 1954, in Oklahoma. Together they had two children Gay & Robert Goodwin. She worked as a homemaker, was a Baptist, ran the clothes closet at the First Baptist Church, was a Christmas Angel at Golden Age, and part of the Dublin Goodfellows.
Her husband Allen preceded her in death on April 9, 1990.
She will be remembered by her daughter and son-in-law – Gay & Gary Sparks of DeLeon, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law – Dr. Robert Goodwin & Carla of Brownwood, Texas; her grandchildren – Duane Sparks & wife Bethany, Sara Sparks Latimer & husband Brandt, Nicholas Goodwin & wife Sara, Christopher Goodwin; her great grandson – Marshall Latimer; her extended family members – Debra Ramsey and Jr. Vargas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dublin Public Library, Gardens of Memory of Paducah, Tx or First Baptist Church of Dublin for kitchen funds.
