STEPHENVILLE – Colton Troutman and Robbie Clarke were selected as All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the committee announced on Thursday.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either the indoor or outdoor seasons.
Troutman was part of the Texans 4×400-meter relay team that advanced to the 2018 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships where they placed seventh with a time of 3:11.46.
Clarke earned a provisional mark in the heptathlon at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Championships, scoring 4,479 points and placing fifth.
