ROSARY: 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the funeral home.

VISITATION:  6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the funeral home.

FUNERAL MASS:  10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

BURIAL:  Garden of Memory Cemetery

LUNCH:  Family will have lunch at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Comanche following the funeral services.

Jose Manuel Garcia, age 69, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at his home

He was born on December 19, 1948, in San Felipe GTO, Mexico, to Dionicio and Carmen (Guzman) Garcia.  On February 17, 1969, he was united in marriage to Micaela Hernandez in Mexico. Manuel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comanche and active in the Men’s Club of the church. He was a dairyman for Aurora Dairy, Inc. for 27 years. He encouraged his children and grandchildren to work and play outdoors. Manuel enjoyed gardening, ranching and farming. He loved working and volunteering for Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Many people reminisce about Manuel cooking fajitas at the Comanche Pow-Wow with his friends.

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Micaela (Hernandez) Garcia of Comanche; three sons: Jose C. “Pancho” Garcia of Comanche, Patrick Garcia of Comanche, Ramiro “Bud” and wife Shawna Garcia of Comanche; four Grandchildren; Eric Garcia, Kristina Garcia, Rylee Garcia and Kynzee Garcia; two great-grandchildren Ayden “Pinto” and Aribella; three brothers: Juan Garcia of Milwaukee, WI, Mario Garcia of Kerrville, Tx, Florentino and wife Rosa Garcia of Milwaukee, WI; one sister, Anna Maria Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio and Carmen Garcia and one son Juan M. Garcia.
