Tarleton is coming off a 29-6 season last year, in which the program swept the Lone Star Conference Championships for the first time in school history. They advanced to the NCAA postseason for the fourth straight season and will bring back four all-conference starters – Adrianna Knutson, Adriana Darthuy, Hannah McManus, and Amber Strange.

Tarleton will open the season with back-to-back tournament weekends, beginning August 24-25 in Stephenville with the Tarleton Invitational. The following weekend, Tarleton will head to St. George, Utah for a tournament at the home of its newest regional rival, Dixie State, who joined the RMAC this offseason. Then, Tarleton will begin Lone Star Conference action over the remainder of the season.
