FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.
VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the funeral home.
LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church following the funeral service.

T. A. Fails, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Temple, Texas.
He was born on January 27, 1931, in Comanche County, Texas, to R. M. and Inez (Johnson) Fails. For seven years he served in the National Guard. On June 23, 1951, he was united in marriage to Louise Iletha Phifer in Comanche. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2017. Talmadge was a devoted family man and most of all he loved playing with his grandchildren. For thirty years, he was Assistant Post Master in Comanche and was a member of the Comanche Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He loved fishing, deer hunting, and was an awesome carpenter. Talmadge was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Tim Fails of Rowlett , Ronnie Fails and wife Adrianne of Dublin, and Kent Fail and wife Lisa of Dublin; daughter, Melanee “Denise” Schwartz of Comanche; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Freda Phifer of Granbury; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, J. C. Fails and one sister-in-law, Anna Jean Fails; and his parents, R.M and Inez Fails.
