Susan Ann Cook of DeLeon, TX was born to Mr. & Mrs Kenneth Rackler in Slaton, TX  on September 8, 1951.  She went to be with the Lord September 4, 2018.   She was the second oldest of four daughters.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed gardening, shopping for antiques, biking and hiking around the Las Cruces, NM area.  She particularly enjoyed Dripping Springs National Park.

Sue and her husband Dale became members of Lake Leon Baptist Church of Eastland, TX after relocating to DeLeon, TX in April of 2018.

She was a gypsy soul with a free spirit and a great heart.  You could always count on a laugh, (or several) when she was around.  Her life ended way too soon, but she enjoyed every minute she had on this earth.

She will be missed deeply by her family, friends and everyone that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Dale of the home, her daughters Suzie Morris and husband Ken of Bentonville, AR and Stacy Ryan and husband Justin of Booneville, AR, her grandchildren Trent, Evan, Amanda and Cameron.  She is also survived by her sisters Addie Short and husband Dewey of DeLeon, TX, Patricia Rackler of Wichita, KS, Vickie Thomas and husband Mike of Amarillo,  her brother Ken Dompier and wife Joyce of Chicago Heights, IL and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Memorial services will be held at Lake Leon Baptist Church on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lake Leon Baptist Church or the
