STEPHENVILLE (September 17, 2018) — Tarleton State University’s Study Abroad program encourages students to begin your journey with an information expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the ballrooms of the Thompson Student Center on the Stephenville campus.

The annual Study Abroad Fair is for students interested in participating in one of the university’s international opportunities available in places all over the world, including Belize, Ecuador, Columbia, England, Ireland, Italy, Greece, South Korea and Nepal.

Among the many opportunities for Tarleton State University students is the annual Honors College study abroad trip to Urbino, Italy. Details about this international program and others will be provided during the Study Abroad Fair on Sept. 27.
Fairgoers can meet with faculty-led program directors, program providers and former participants, and get information on financial aid.

Winners of the Study Abroad Photo Contest, accepting entries through Friday, Sept. 21, will be announced at the fair.

More than 300 Tarleton students in 30 academic programs have traveled to more than 27 countries as part of the university’s Study Abroad program. Opportunities include faculty-led programs, graduate research abroad, internships, credit-transfer through international partners, and fall/spring semester exchanges. Short-term programs — some are field experiences related to on-campus courses — take place during winter and spring breaks, May mini-semester and summer.
