Tarleton remains at No. 20 in latest AVCA National Rankings

This is the fifth week of national voting and Tarleton has been as high as No. 18 and as low as No. 24, while always remaining ranked this year. This is the second consecutive week Tarleton has been at No. 20.

Tarleton is one of two Lone Star Conference schools in the top 25, joining Texas A&M-Commerce who fell from No. 23 to No. 25. Tarleton has been ranked in every poll since the final ranking of the 2016 season, which is 20 consecutive weeks in the national spotlight.

Tarleton went 3-0 last weekend, earning victories over Angelo State, West Texas A&M, and Eastern New Mexico, the latter two came on the road. Tarleton is currently alone at the top of the LSC standings with an 11-2 record and a 5-0 mark in league play.

Tarleton will be back home next Saturday for Family Weekend in Stephenville with an altered schedule. The TexAnns were originally scheduled to play Friday and Saturday in Wisdom Gym, but will now play two games on Saturday, beginning with a 12 p.m. LSC showdown with Texas A&M-Kingsville and wrapping up with a 6 p.m. match against St. Mary’s.
