SHS 2006 graduate Holt is first MLB player to hit for cycle in the playoffs

Stephenville High School graduate Brock Holt wrote himself into the record books of Major League Baseball last night by becoming the first player ever to hit for-the-cycle in a playoff game.

The Red Sox infielder had a fourth-inning single and a triple. In the eight-inning Holt added a double before he hit a two-run homer in the ninth-inning which also added up to a 16-1 win and the worst playoff loss ever for the New York Yankees

Holt also becomes to 26th MLB to hit for the cycle twice in his career after also accomplishing the feat against the Atlanta Braves on June 15, 2015. Holt graduated from Stephenville High School in 2006
