STEPHENVILLE (October 18, 2018) – The Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department (SPARD) and the Stephenville Zonta Club present their 53rd annual Arts, Crafts and Gifts show. The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Stephenville Recreational Hall.

There will be many different kinds of crafts there. Last year, the crafts ranged from Scentsy to Lularoe to homemade pens and mirrors.

Ashley Snyder, the recreation coordinator for the event, said each year, many people come from out of town to go to the Arts, Crafts and Gifts show.

“We have 26 booths outside. We expect them all to be full. They’re usually full every year. I would say ranging everywhere from 700 to 1,000 people [come out] for those two days,” Snyder said.

Snyder encourages everyone to come out to the show because “it’s a good place to get Christmas presents.”

“It’s a fun event that you can go around and see what everyone makes or sells. There’s a lot of different things that you wouldn’t expect to see,” Snyder said.

Booths are still available in the gym for vendors to register their crafts. Registration is still open and will continue to be open until Nov. 2.

To register, vendors can come up to the Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department located at 378 W. Long St and fill out a packet or they can call SPARD at 254-918-1295.
