Dublin got down and dirty Friday night in Rio Vista as they thumped the Eagle 46-12, and moved to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in district play. Getting dirty was pretty easy to do with six inches of mud on the sidelines and an offense that seemed to be able to strike at will.
Quarterback Cy Wing was 8-13 passing for 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Wing also scored on the ground while gaining 21 yards.
Hagan Huffman led the Lion’s ground attack with 133 yards and a touchdown on just nine carries. Jacob Stanley had four catches on the night for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
