STEPHENVILLE (November 11, 2018) – A celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day was held at The Chapel On The Bosque on Sunday, November 11.  During the 11th month, on the 11th Day, on the 11th hour of 1918, World War One came to an end.  The wonderful event was hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).  Many of the details and hardships of World War One were discussed during the afternoon’s ceremony.  At the end of the celebration, there was a ceremonial celebration of the planting of an oak tree as a living reminder for us all to be thankful to our ancestors for the sacrifices that they all made so that we may enjoy the many freedoms that we have today.
