Doris Lyvonne Chesser was born on October 20, 1937 to Wilburn Badgett Ledbetter and Myrtle Connie Myers in Fort Worth, Texas. She had four siblings; JoAnn, Marjie, Deloris, and Haskell.
Doris married Bobby Gene Chasteen (deceased) and they had three sons; Bobby Wayne Chasteen, Christopher Curtis Chasteen, and Stephen Barton Chasteen (deceased). Later in life she married on March 4th, 1967 to Ervin (Bill) William Chesser (deceased).
She had eight grandchildren; Bobby Keith Chasteen, Monica Kay Moloughney, Miranda Renae Nail, Connie Raenail Pullen, Sarah Elizabeth Chasteen (deceased), Michelle Nicole Chasteen, Amanda Lynn Chasteen, and Stephanie Lyvonne Chasteen.
Doris was blessed with twenty great grandchildren and many extended friends and family.
Service Information
Visitation
The family will receive visitors from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, at the Harvest Hills Funeral Home, located at 118 Second Street in Hico. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 21, in the Duffau Cemetery.
