The first day of the Stephenville Knight of Columbus Soccer Tournament featured domination by the Honeybees who won their two games with matching 10-0 scores while the Yellow Jackets won 5-1 and tied 1-1.
Stephenville also got strong efforts from the JV Bees who
downed Waco University 2-1 and dropping a tight game 1-0 against Lorena.
“I was very impressed with the way our JV played today,” Coach Casey Weil said.
“Our varsity came out and took care of business today. It was nice to see the
things we work on in practice come together on the field.”
