STEPHENVILLE (January 24, 2019) — “Let All Men Sing,” a weekend choral clinic presented by the Tarleton State University Department of Fine Arts, is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 1, and Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.

The annual event brings together tenors and basses of all ages from all over North Texas to sing and perform, culminating in a free concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The public is invited.

This year’s clinician is Dr. Andrew Minear, director of choral activities at the University of Alabama where he leads the university choirs, oversees the graduate choral conducting program and teaches courses in conducting and choral literature.

With more than 100 appearances in a dozen states, Minear is an active guest conductor, clinician, adjudicator and presenter. His dedication to lifelong choral singing and passion for expressive music making have been cultivated through conductor-teacher experiences in children’s, church, community, middle school, high school and collegiate choral settings.
