Tarleton Baseball back home for four non-conference games against Eastern New Mexico

THE GAMES
Tarleton will return home to the friendly confines of the Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex this weekend for a four-game series against Eastern New Mexico. The games will not count towards the Lone Star Conference standings. The series will begin Friday at 3 p.m., continue Saturday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader, and conclude Sunday with a 1 p.m. single game.

WEATHER FORECAST
The first two games of the series will see clear skies and temperatures in the mid-70s, but Sunday has a 60-percent chance of rain with temperatures in the mid-50s. If the weather affects game play, updates will be posted as they become available on the @TarletonSports twitter account and Facebook pages.

TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton State Ticket Office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. in the main lobby of Wisdom Gym and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Tarleton’s Stephenville Campus Students receive free admission to all home games with valid Stephenville Campus Student ID. Online tickets can be purchased by visting TarletonSports.com/Tickets.

HOME, SWEET HOME
This will be Tarleton’s second home series of the season. The Texans took three out of four in their last series at the Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex against UC-Colorado Springs.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton suffered a sweep in a four-game, non-conference series at Angelo State last weekend.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Eastern New Mexico have one of the richest histories of the Texan Baseball program. Dating back to 1995, the Texans and Greyhounds have met on the diamond 116 times with Tarleton holding a 72-43-1 edge in the series. Tarleton is 40-17 against Eastern New Mexico all-time in Stephenville, including a home sweep last season.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will finish up its non-conference schedule with a road trip to Odessa next weekend. The Texans will play four non-league games against UT Permian Basin, beginning on Friday at 2 p.m.
