Gerald Lee Jones born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 23, 1928 to parents Oscar Monroe and Cora Frances (Monroe) Jones-Nichols, passed away April 1, 2019 in Hico, Texas at age 91. Gerald was a graduate of Fort Worth Technical High School (Trimble Tech High School), Fort Worth, TX, in 1947 and briefly attended Texas Christian University. Gerald was a General Mechanist, Tool and Die Maker, and was, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, and business owner of C&S Tool and Instrument Company, Inc., Fort Worth, TX. Hobbies/Interests: Sitting on his porch and watching his cows, watching sports on TV with his grandson, Michael Jones, putting together puzzles and reading his Bible, he was a pilot and enjoyed flying his airplane, spending time with his grandchildren, and worshiping with his church family at Clairette Baptist Church. Lifetime member of the Odd Fellows. Married the love of his life Emma Lou Bogan Jones, June 17, 1944 in Fort Worth, TX

Predeceased by:_His parents, his loving wife, Emma Lou (Bogan) Jones, his brothers, Hewell Jones, Billy Jones, and Ronald Jones, and two bonus great grandchildren.

Survivor(s): His son, John Paul Jones, Sr. and his wife, Patsy of Clairette, TX, 4 grandchildren-Tammy (Jones) Clay and her husband, Robert Clay of Haltom City, TX, Michelle (Jones) Adams of TX, Michael Jones, of Clairette, TX, and John Jones, Jr. and his wife, Yvie Jones of Cypress, TX, 11 great-grandchildren and their spouses, 13 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation, April 5, 1:00PM, Harvest Hills Funeral Home, followed by services at 2:00 PM., with Gary Robinson officiating. Gerald will be laid to rest next to his wife, Emma, at Laurel Land Cemetery at a future date.
