Withrow was phenomenal for Tarleton last week as the junior right-hander threw three consecutive complete-game shutouts, including her second career no-hitter while enduring a 17-hour delay.

Withrow’s week began Tuesday as she delivered a five-inning shutout of region rival St. Mary’s in Stephenville.

In Friday’s series opener at UT Permian Basin, Withrow threw the second no-hitter of her career. She pitched five innings of no-hit softball Friday night before the game went into a lightning delay just before the bottom of the sixth with Tarleton leading 8-0. The game was picked up on Saturday and Withrow recorded the final three outs while working around a one-out walk to complete the no-no. She continued her mound dominance in game two of the series as she went on to throw a three-hit shutout of the Falcons Saturday afternoon.

For the week, Withrow pitched 18.0 shutout innings in the circle, allowing just five hits and striking out 17. She held the Rattler and Falcon hitters to a combined average of .088 and won all three of the starts.

Withrow and the TexAnns will be back in Stephenville this weekend to host Texas A&M-Commerce in a three-game series.
