“Branson On the Bosque,” a live country music show featuring some of the most well known and best-loved country songs of all time, was held in the Paradigm Building (555 W. Washington) which is owned by the First Baptist Church on Friday, April 12. The concert was a Missions Fundraiser for First Baptist Church, Stephenville supporting all the mission trips throughout the year. No tickets were required. The cost of admission was by donation only and thanks to the many, many generous folks who came out, the event was able to raise $4,400.

The cast of singers and musicians included: Mike and Alecia Echols (Fiddle & Vocals), Christian Hutton (Electric Guitar), Roger Ramsey (Bass), Gary Freeman (Keyboard), and Paul Layman (Drums) – all who have performed for several years at Granbury Live and other various venues. Also joining the cast are FBC vocalists and musicians, Colby Swearingen (Vocals & Acoustic Guitar), Deslys Jergins, (Keyboard), Grant Slawson (Saxophone), and Cooper Moring (Vocals), as well as special music by FBC Pastor, Ken May. Audie Renee of KSTV Radio was the emcee. Tributes to artists such as George Strait, Crystal Gayle, Bob Wills, Patsy Cline, Alabama, Garth Brooks, Glen Campbell, Carrie Underwood, and many more were highlighted in this concert. If you missed this one, keep your fingers crossed, maybe there will be another one sometime in the future and you can catch that one.
