VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
LUNCH: Family will have lunch at First Baptist Church of Comanche following the funeral services.

Kenneth Carroll Walker, age 71, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, in Comanche County, Texas.
He was born on December 19, 1947, in Levelland, Texas, to Volney Dale and Dorothy Jean (Hurt) Walker. On May 27, 1967, he was united in marriage to Kathie Rose Stark in Comanche. Kenneth was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and was never happier than when supporting them in their various activities. For many years he was a buyer for Higginbotham Bros. & Company and, later, was a Farm Bureau Insurance agent. He was never idle and was always involved in new enterprises. Kenneth could fix anything. He owned and operated a laundromat and storage facility, and was a talented locksmith. He was a former member of the Comanche Kiwanis Club, volunteered for the Comanche Volunteer Fire Department for twenty-five years, was an EMT for Comanche Hospital and in his ‘spare’ time he was an avid hunter. Kenneth was a member of First Baptist Church of Comanche.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Kathie Walker of Comanche; daughters, Kelly Morgan and husband Bob of Fort Worth, and Kristy Roper of Burleson; four grandsons, Adam and Will Roper and Walker and Wyatt Morgan; and sister, Joyce Copeland of Venus, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Jean Walker.
