(August 27, 1945 – July 04, 2019)

Ed was born in Stephenville, Texas.  He grew up in Terrell and Brownwood, Texas where he graduated in 1964.  He attended Tarleton State University and received his degree in Education  from East Texas State University in Commerce.  Ed then embarked on a career in coaching and teaching in a number of schools across the state of Texas.  He started in Pearsall and finished in Brownwood.

Ed then returned to Dublin, Texas to assist his father in the management of the family ranch outside of Dublin.  Ed assumed the role of ranch manager after the passing of his father in 2004.

Ed had more friends across the state than you could count.  His bright smile and personality always had a story he was ready to share.  Ed was an Eagle Scout and worked tirelessly with scout programs in both Terrell and Brownwood.  Ed was a True Family Man and “Uncle Ed” will live in the hearts of his family for eternity.

He is survived by his two brothers, Eric and wife Jane, Mark, ‘nephew’ Austin and wife Annie and sons Dalton and Remington, ‘niece’ Karen Sulkowski and husband Nick and sons George and Gordon.

Funeral celebration services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, Texas. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Circle Ten Council, 8605 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75235.
